​There's a moment that almost every mother knows — late at night, baby finally asleep (or not), and the thought creeps in: Am I doing this right? Is anyone else awake right now, feeling exactly like I feel?

Here's the truth we want every mother to know: you were never meant to carry this alone.

From the very beginning, God designed us for community. Eve wasn't created to walk through life solo and neither were you. Scripture tells us in Galatians 6:2 to "carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." That's not just a nice sentiment for church potlucks. That's a command for the sleepless nights, the hard labors, the uncertain first weeks of motherhood, and every season in between.

Birth Was Never Meant to Be a Solo Journey
Think about it... throughout history and across cultures, women have surrounded women during birth and postpartum. Mothers, aunties, midwives, and doulas gathering close, sharing wisdom, holding space, bringing meals, praying over the laboring mother and her baby. Somewhere along the way, in our modern rush, many of us lost that village.

At Abiding Love Birth Collective, rebuilding that village is exactly why we exist.
